1998: Signed by the Storm to compete for the backup quarterback slot behind incumbent starter Peter Tom Willis...Did not play in the Storm's first two games...Replaced Peter Tom Willis in the fourth quarter of the game against Houston (5/16) with the Storm holding a 42-19 advantage... Completed four of six passes for 42 yards and an eight-yard touchdown pass to George LaFrance...Sat out the following game but got his most extensive action in the dog-kicking at New Jersey (5/30)...Took over for Willis with 10:51 left in the game...Completed four of five passes for 37 yards and a score...Also gained 12 yards on his only rush, one which kept the Storm's final touchdown drive alive.

College: Named second-team All-Big Sky Conference at Weber State in 1994; he led Division I-AA in passing offense per game that season until suffering a shoulder injury that ended his season after six games...Played at Weber from 1994-95.

Personal: Was selected as All-City first team during his senior season (1990 ) at Granada Hills HIgh School near Los Angeles...Works in public relations for Dakota Mill and Cabinets in Ogden, Utah...Drove by himself all the way from Utah to Tampa to join the Storm...Full name is Robert Bryan Martin.
