#27 - Tracy Sanders

1995: Tallied 30 tackles---23 unassisted, broke up two passes and forced a fumble in the regular season...Made his mark in ArenaBowl IX (9/1) when he intercepted a Pat O'Hara pass with 2:46 left and took it 47 yards in the other direction for the clinching touchdown.

1996: Missed the first 13 games of the regular season thanks to shoulder surgery, but played in all three playoff games...Continued his tradition of coming up big in ArenaBowls, intercepting a pass against Iowa in ArenaBowl X (8/26).

1997: In spite of playing just eight games, finished third on the team in solo tackles (32) and total tackles (35)...Had a season-high eight tackles against Florida (5/10)...Recorded three tackles and a sack in the loss to New Jersey (6/14)...Posted four tackles and defended a pass one week later against New York (6/21)...Posted his only interception of the season and had seven tackles in the win at Texas (7/5)...Had five tackles two weeks later in the loss to Iowa (7/19)...Had two tackles a week later against Florida (7/26) but suffered an injured ankle that kept him out of the game at San Jose (8/2)...Made three tackles in the playoff win at Nashville (8/10).

1998: Endured a tough season in 1998, with two stints on the injury list---for an injured hip (Week One to Week Three) and an injured shoulder, suffered prior to the Week Fourteen game at Grand Rapids...While on the 24-man roster, he was activated just once---against New York (6/6)...He played both ways against the CityHawks (marking the first time he has ever played offense in Arena Football) and broke up a pass on defense.

1999: Is currently on the Refused to Report list; he is suffering from high blood pressure and is unable to play.

Career Highlights: Played for the Buffalo Bills for one season and for the Birmingham Fire of the World League for two years (1991-92)...Started at cornerback for three years opposite Deion Sanders.
