1997: Signed on July 3 after a stellar Canadian Football League career...Was deactivated against Texas (7/5) but made a spectacular debut against Anaheim (7/12)...His first AFL reception was a circus-style 41-yar catch, trip, and runaround to set up a score...Ended up with three catches for 79 yards and a touchdown on the night...Caught a 30-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of the loss to Iowa (7/19)...Took over at offensive specialist for the first time against Florida (7/26) and was named Game MVP after catching six passes for 67 yards and two touchdowns...he added 133 yards on six returns, including two of more than 30 yards...Suffered an ankle injury during the first quarter of the Storm's 58-34win at San Jose (8/2); he had two catches for nine yards before going down...Hampered by the ankle injury, he caught just one pass for 12 yards in the Storm's postseason win at Nashville (8/10)...Electrified the air with a 56-yard kickoff return in the first quarter of the Storm's playoff game at Arizona (8/16); he also caught three passes for 31 yards that night.

1998: Caught seven passes for 140 yards and two scores against San Jose (5/1), and accounting for 65 yards on four kick returns...Caught a first-quarter pass from Peter Tom Willis for 20 yards and a score against Nashville (5/9), while returning four kickoffs for 84 yards; on his longest return, a 28-yarder in the second quarter, he suffered a pulled groin after being flipped in the air by Kats kicker Jorge Cimedavilla...Deactivated against Houston (5/16), Florida (5/23), New Jersey (5/30) and New York (6/6) because of the injury...Returned to action against Orlando (6/12), leading the team in receptions (5), yardage (81) and touchdowns (2); scored the game-clinching touchdown with under two minutes remaining...Caught four passes for 68 yards against Albany (6/20), including a 27-yard catch in run that set up a third quarter touchdown...Caught four passes against Orlando (6/27) for 44 yards, including a 14-yard fingertip grab score; returned one missed field goal for 17 yards...Caught two passes for 10 yards and returned three kickoffs for 35 yards against Houston (7/2)...Snared three passes for 40 yards, including a 28-yards touchdown grab--the longest play of the day--against Florida (7/12)...Only made one play--a 42-yard bomb with 6:53 left in the third quarter to tie the game at 22-22...Placed on the suspended list by the league on 7/22 for one year.

Career Highlights: Undrafted out of Texas Tech, he was signed by the San Diego Chargers in April 1989 and made the team as a receiver and a returner...Played in San Diego for two years and was named to the AFC All-Rookie team in 1989...Attended training camps of the Minnesota Vikings (1991) and Buffalo Bills (1992)...Played for the World League's San Antonio Riders in 1992...After being cut by the Bills, joined the CFL's Ottawa Rough Riders, where he stayed until 1993...Played two years for the CFL's Shreveport Pirates (1994-95) and spent 1996 with the Saskatchewan Roughriders...Totalled 2,300 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns in five CFL seasons.
