1999: Signed in the spring to back up for Peter Tom Willis...Saw his first action on the final possession of the first half against Orlando (4/10), and turned in a strong effort, completing nine of ten passes for 107 yards and one score...Led the Storm back from a 39-14 deficit to within 39-36 in the fourth quarter...Had a somewhat more difficult time against Florida (4/16), suffering three sacks while completing seven of 12 passes for 115 yards and one touchdown...Was active but did not take a snap in the Storm's first three games.College: Attended Gavalan College in Gilroy, Calif. before heading off to Wyoming...In two years with the Cowboys, he established the school record for touchdown passes (54)...Had a fantastic senior season, setting UW single season records for passing yardage (4,090), total offense (4,209 yards) and touchdown passes (33)...His total offense numbers earned him a national honor, the AT&T Long Distance Award, given annually to the player who leads the nation in total offense...Selected to the All-Western Athletic Conference first team...Led the Cowboys to a 10-2 record, including a 7-1 mark inside the conference and the WAC Pacific Division championship...Lost the WAC title game, though, in a heartbreaking overtime defeat to Brigham Young; the loss ended up costing the Cowboys a bowl bid altogether, thanks to the hopelessly convoluted politics that govern the college bowl system.
Personal: Grew up in Hawaii...Majored in Broadcasting at UW and has done color commentary on the radio for Wyoming women's basketball games.
